Who is Lane Wadle?

ESPN’s 18th highest nationally ranked “Y” Tight End recruit in the class of 2024 for D1 college football. 3- star rated, #2- ranked Indiana Tight End and graduated early with honors from Greenfield Central High School, which is located approximately 25 miles east of Indianapolis, IN.

Called a “country boy with a bit of swag”, Lane has a strong desire to be successful in all he pursues. He played his freshman season at the D1 FBS level for Georgia State University in Atlanta. In 2026 he entered the transfer portal, after many visits and offers, he chose to continue his academic and playing career at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. While studying Business Management, he hopes to connect with some of the many Fortune 500 companies/CEO’s located in Charlotte.
